Social Compact, Training, and Reporting Unsafe Behavior

Please note that this information is subject to change, and the community will be notified of any changes accordingly.

    Mandatory Social Compact

All community members who will be on campus this spring and summer are required to sign a social compact of shared responsibility agreeing to the following conditions for the safety of our shared environment:

    • We will practice social distancing.

    • We will wear facial coverings.

    • We will wash our hands regularly.

    • We will wipe down our work spaces after using them.

    • We will strictly limit travel to and from campus during the term. (View the spring 2021 student travel policy.)

Watch the recording of a webinar held on November 12 about the social compact and online training module. Note that the information in the webinar may no longer be consistent with current protocols. Refer to the written text on this website for the latest on Berklee's policies and processes.

    Reporting and Addressing Unsafe Behavior

    Required Online Training Course

To help ensure everyone's safety, you must complete an online training module before coming to campus. In this module, we review key takeaways from the Keeping Our Community Healthy campaign videos and then go through a short, multiple choice quiz to make sure we all fully understand Berklee’s protocols. Through the online training module, you will also sign a consent waiver to participate in the testing protocols and commit to follow the guidelines of the Berklee Social Compact.

All students, faculty, and staff who are on campus this spring and summer—for any amount of time—must complete this training before accessing campus.
