Rental Information
The following Berklee College of Music facilities are available for rental. Additional break-out rooms may be available depending on the time of day or year.
First-time renters are required to submit a hall rental application in order to be eligible to hold or confirm dates.

The Berklee Performance Center
Fixed seating capacity: 1,215
Convenient location. Superior acoustics. Professional and experienced event and production staff. These are just a few of the many features that make the 1,215-seat performance center the perfect venue for a concert, lecture, or comedy show. By holding your event at the Berklee Performance Center, you take advantage of not only our outstanding facility, sound equipment, and lighting system, but also the rich history of this singular New England locale.
The Berklee Performance center is equipped with a number of facility extras, such as one 12,000 Lumen Barco video projector, a 22" x 16" screen, and a seven-foot Yamaha piano (including professional piano services). Performers have access to one main greenroom and two personal-sized dressing rooms. Additional rooms may be available upon request.
All of your production needs can be met by the Berklee Performance Center's professional production staff. The center offers a full complement of technical and house management support that includes stage and lighting crews, box office staff, security guards, and ushers.

William Davis Room
Room capacity: up to 50 Accessible from the lobby of the Berklee Performance Center, the William Davis Room is available for small receptions and meetings. Its location provides restricted access for optimum privacy. Features include:

The David Friend Recital Hall
Room capacity: up to 150 Located in Berklee College of Music's Genko Uchida Building at 921 Boylston Street, across the street from the Hynes Convention Center, the David Friend Recital Hall is a beautiful facility, perfect for a small concert, meeting, reception, or banquet. The hall is circular and has a small balcony around the perimeter. There is a modular stage platform that can be sized three different ways to fit the needs of the event. Catering can be arranged upon request. Other features include:

Cafe 939
Room capacity: up to 200 Cafe 939 is Berklee's new, state-of-the-art, all-ages music venue and coffee house. Located at 939 Boylston Street, adjacent to the Cactus Club, Cafe 939 is an ideal location for a concert, private reception, or meeting. The 200-capacity venue--featuring high-end PA and lighting systems, video and DVD capabilities, and flexible seating--is equipped for a wide variety of events. Catering is available from the adjoining coffee house or through the college's catering department. Features include:
