VIDEO: Student Vocalist Sirma

Hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, Berklee vocalist and songwriter Sirma recently released her debut solo EP, Traces. Sirma was the first recipient of the Arif Mardin Fellowship at Berklee and, in 2009, she was one of 16 singers selected from around the world to sing with Akon on his single, “Oh Africa.” Sirma has worked as a producer, songwriter, and arranger, and was the lead singer of the popular rock band Helicopria for two years.
