David Cowan is a drummer, composer, arranger, educator, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. A versatile drummer, David has performed and recorded across a wide range of styles and genres. His compositions can also be heard in hundreds of television programs domestically and world-wide.

  • Toured with Lalah Hathaway, Brian McKnight, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., and Walter Beasley
  • Performed with Common, Tomo Fujita, Jennifer Holliday, The Fifth Dimension, Howard Hewett, Daryl Coley, Sheila E., Freda Payne, Spanky Alford, and Barbara Morrison
  • Recorded with Ty Taylor (of Vintage Trouble), Andy Hall and Andy Falco (of The Infamous Stringdusters), and Tomo Fujita
