Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, with formative years spent on the strip in Las Vegas, Shannon O'Donnell is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who seamlessly blends jazz, neo-soul, and folk. With roots in Irish folk and soul music, her influences span a wide range of global traditions.
O'Donnell’s recent work leans into experimentation, fueled by a passion for exploring soundscapes and using vocal and instrumental effects. Her music expresses an emotional spectrum—from nostalgia and happiness to grief and longing—anchored by lyrics and melodies that aim to connect deeply with listeners.
Outside of her original work, O'Donnell’s versatility shines through in a range of musical settings. She performs in contemporary pop and R&B styles as a vocalist and entertainer at restaurants, weddings, and private events, and she serves as a playlist curator for One Write Music.
Deeply committed to the collaborative spirit of music-making, O'Donnell actively works to build and nurture creative communities wherever she goes.
