Seba Ramírez is a versatile drummer and percussionist known for blending Paraguayan music, jazz, Latin American, and contemporary styles. His 2023 solo album, Untied, recorded in Barcelona, merges rock and free improvisation, expanding the boundaries of percussion. Ramírez has toured across South America and Europe, collaborating with artists such as Pablo Selnik, Bill McHenry, Mike Stern, and Juanjo Corbalán.

Born in Paraguay and raised in the multicultural city of Ciudad del Este, Ramírez’s sound reflects a broad range of influences. He holds degrees from the Centro de Altos Estudios Musicales in Buenos Aires and the Universidad Nacional de Asunción, along with master’s degrees from the Liceu Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. Beyond performing, Ramírez teaches at the Universidad Nacional de Asunción and has published research on Paraguayan music.
