Ness DeJean is an emerging pop singer-songwriter with a voice that channels soul, passion, and raw emotion. Born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey, DeJean discovered her love for music at age seven, singing in church. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, she writes songs that resonate on a deeply emotional level, infused with both vulnerability and infectious energy. Influenced by legends like Whitney Houston and Anita Baker, her sound feels at once fresh and familiar.

Now honing her craft at Berklee College of Music, DeJean is refining her artistry and preparing to make her mark on the music industry. With undeniable authenticity and heart, she is at the beginning a musical journey that promises to be powerful and unforgettable.

Ness DeJean will be performing as part of Berklee’s Summer in the City 2025 concert series. View all concerts.
