Maren Doughty is a Boston-based folk singer-songwriter originally from Northern Michigan, where she grew up by the shores of Lake Superior. Surrounded by a landscape of forests and water, she found early inspiration in the way the natural world reflects inner growth and change, an influence that continues to shape her reflective, acoustic-driven sound. Doughty began singing, songwriting, playing guitar, and self-producing at a young age, always drawn to the joy of creative collaboration. She now performs solo, as part of the vocal trio Stereo Three, and with a full band of close friends. Follow her on Instagram.
