Boston Conservatory at Berklee theater faculty member C. Neil Parsons performs a variety show composed of many parts: part storytelling, part musical act, part physical theater, and part TED Talk. In between musical and choreographic interludes with his trombone, Parsons relates true stories about his personal relationship with silence, what happens when his sleep alter-ego takes over, and why an experimental composer created music in pictures without telling anyone how it should sound. Featuring musical excerpts by C. Neil Parsons, Cornelius Cardew, George Gershwin, Fredrik Högberg, Curtis Hughes, and Frederic Rzewski.
