B-Girls: Global K-Pop Idol is a large-scale, women-led pop production that explores K-pop as a global cultural movement shaped by cross-border collaboration, musical diversity, and contemporary performance design centered around dance vocals.
B-Girls, Berklee’s one and only K-pop idol collective, operates as a student-run interdisciplinary production group involving performers, producers, songwriters, and creative directors from Berklee College of Music, choreographers and dancers from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and business minds from music business/management and music industry leadership and innovation majors. This concert will feature original music alongside reimagined K-pop arrangements, live band integration, choreography, and multimedia elements that reflect the fusion of K-pop traditions with Berklee-trained musicianship.
The performance represents the culmination of B-Girls’ growing regional presence across Greater Boston and a highlight on cultural diversity. With established media coverage and a cross-campus audience base, this event aims to present a polished production that highlights experiential learning, female creative leadership, and the power of global pop to meaningfully intersect with local communities.
