The arranging major covers concepts relating to instrumentation, orchestration, music technology, and composition in a variety of musical styles.
Students enrolled in the music production and technology program learn the musical aspects of production as well as the principles of sound engineering methods, real-time performance synthesis, sound design, and production techniques.
Those in the music business major cover event and artist management, music publishing, marketing, entrepreneurship, record company operations, and e-commerce.
The curriculum also includes a one-year program on traditional/folk music and instruments of Malaysia designed to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the history, culture, and evolution of Malaysian music. In addition to music concentrations, the college offers a wide range of general education subjects.
