City Music Applications

Thank you for your interest in Berklee City Music programs. Application forms are online for your convenience.

Because each program serves different students, we ask that you read the requirements before applying. If you have questions, contact our office.

To apply for the 2013 City Music Summer Scholarship and download the mandatory reference forms, please scroll down to "Additional Forms" where you will find all necessary materials.

To apply to the Saturday Preparatory Academy, students must:

1. Be in grades 4-8
2. Live in Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Lawrence, Lynn, or Somerville
3. Have at least one year of training (formal or informal) on their principal instrument
4. Own or have regular access to an instrument

Saturday Preparatory School application form

To apply for the Music Mentoring Program, students must:

1. Be in grades 7-12
2. Live in Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Lawrence, Lynn or Somerville
3. Be proficient in their principal instrument
4. Have at least one year of training (formal or informal) on their principal instrument
5. Own or have regular access to an instrument

Mentor Program application form

City Music High School Academy:

This program selects applicants based on audition and interview only.

Applying students must also:

1. Be in grades 9-12
2. Live in Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Lawrence, Lynn, or Somerville
3. Have at least one year of training (formal or informal) on their principal instrument
4. Own their instrument
5. Participation in the Summer Performance Program preferred
