Biography

Robert Jordon is an artist, educator, and socially motivated freethinker who uses music to improve peoples' lives. He has contributed to the development of educational programs at schools and community organizations in Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the United States. In January of 2017, he cofounded Teach to Learn, an online cultural exchange and mentorship program that connects youth leaders across world regions.

Jordon currently serves as a senior teaching artist and special projects coordinator with the Boston Philharmonic, and is codirector of curriculum development for Giant Steps Music. As a collaborative musician, he has toured throughout North American, Europe, and South Asia. He is a student of drumming legend Ra Kalam Bob Moses and holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and McGill University in jazz performance.
