Keyse Angelo is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master in Social Work from Boston College. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she majored in women's studies. Prior to graduate school, she worked with nonprofit organizations and universities to provide academic and workforce development to clients striving for economic and personal growth. She has ample experience working as an outpatient therapist in a hospital setting and is committed to creating compassionate, judgment-free spaces for diverse communities. She's fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and utilizes various modalities to meet clients needs, including narrative, psychodynamic, internal family systems, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Her areas of therapy focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, addiction, and family and relationship issues. She fosters healing and growth by engaging with clients in a manner that is attentive, curious, and respectful. Her approach to working with people is centered on providing trauma-informed therapy that is sensitive to social justice issues.
