Types of Funding

Financial assistance for your Berklee education is available from a variety of sources: institutional funds, federal aid, state awards, veterans benefits, outside scholarships, and private loans. Funding from any one source is limited and awarded based on specific criteria, so we encourage you to familiarize yourself with all of your options and be aware of applicable deadlines. It is important for you to remember that financial aid is a supplement to your family's contribution to your education and you should only borrow what is needed. All awards are contingent upon students meeting satisfactory academic progress and enrollment status.
