Fall 2020 Virtual Orientation Schedule

Below is a broad overview of the fall orientation schedule. Please note that this is not a complete schedule; it is meant to help you know what to expect so you can plan your week. For the complete program, you need to download the Guidebook application to your phone or tablet.

Fall orientation will take place Saturday, August 29 through Sunday, September 6. Students and families can expect to spend three–five hours a day with our team, attending live sessions, participating in the Berklee 101 Course (students only), and exploring the orientation presentations.

Friday, August 28

Before orientation can officially begin, students will need to check in for the semester. This process will unlock on Thursday, August 27. You will not be able to check in before that date. You must complete all your prelaunch tasks prior to check-in (review prelaunch tasks for the College and the Conservatory). If you need assistance, staff will be available on Friday, August 28 to assist you. More information about the process will be shared soon.

Saturday, August 29–Sunday, August 30

Berklee Launch

On Saturday and Sunday, students and families will meet their launch teams and participate in a series of community-building sessions. Students will be assigned to approximately four hours of sessions each day. Families will be assigned to two hours of sessions on Saturday only.

Monday, August 31–Friday, September 4

Students will participate in several live sessions, as well as auditions and assessments, over the course of these days. Complete schedules will be released soon, but plan to be scheduled for about five hours each day.

While many of the live sessions are for students only, there are others that families will be encouraged to attend. These sessions will be offered for family members only. Exact times will be announced soon.
