Professor Gabrielle Goodman performed in Shanghai with Tom Stein & Friends; Japan with Tiger Okoshi; and St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2014 she released the CD Spiritual Tapestry, featuring Berklee faculty members.
Major Scale Book, by assistant professor Tomo Fujita, is in its second edition, and is published by Rittor Music in Japan. His best-selling book/CD Playing By Ear & Feeling is in its ninth edition. Fujita’s materials have sold over 170,000 copies in Japan.
Amy Merrill, associate professor of liberal arts, had her review of the Lewiston, ME, production of Sweet Dreams, Mr. Heroin published in HowlRound, an online journal of theater criticism and practice.
In October, professor Peter Gardner gave a presentation on cultural differences in educational theory and practice in the graduate Department of Educational Sciences at Freiburg University in Switzerland.
