International Advising Walk-In Hours: June 30 - July 3

Please note the change in the International Student Services walk-in advising hours for the week of June 30 - July 2:

  • Monday, June 30: 1:00PM - 3:00PM
  • Tuesday, July 1: NO ADVISING HOURS
  • Wednesday, July 2: 1:00PM - 3:00PM
  • Thursday, July 3: NO ADVISING HOURS
  • Friday, July 4: College Closed (Independence Day)

The CTMI faculty lab will be closed between 5PM on Thursday 6/26 and 5PM on Friday 6/27

The Center for Technology in Music Instruction faculty lab will be closed from 5PM on Thursday June 26th through 5PM on Friday June 27th to allow for maintenance and updates. During this time, the lab and staff will be unavailable for training and resources (printing, tape conversion, general use.)

The lab will reopen for faculty use this weekend and will be staffed as normal starting on Monday June 30th.

Technology Resources Partners with Perkins School for the Blind

On June 23, two students from Perkins began a five-week work experience program with TR. Chynna Pirrone and Cullen Gallagher are working with Berklee staff in the 186 Mass Ave building. Chynna is working with Samantha Carrera at the front desk, and Cullen is assisting Kyle Spenser with computer imaging and equipment recycling.

In preparation for their arrival, TR staff attended a Disability and Physical Difference workshop with a focus on visual impairment led by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

20th Annual Berklee Percussion Festival

Director of Training and Support

Tony Sulprizio is hired as the director of Training and Support. Tony comes to Berklee after a 20+ year career in technology support at Tufts University. He served there most recently as director of Client Support Services. I am confident that, with his extensive experience in higher ed technology support and his enthusiasm for this position, Tony will be a fine addition to the Technology Resources management team and a solid leader for the Training and Support department.

Tony's first day was Monday, June 30, please join me in welcoming Tony to Berklee.

Thursday, June 26: Mark O'Connor/Berklee Summer String Program Faculty Concert at the BPC (7 p.m.)

The Mark O'Connor/Berklee Summer String Program invites an illustrious list of the world's finest string players to Boston for a week of teaching and playing. They'll appear on stage together for the final faculty concert this evening. From jazz to bluegrass, classical to world music and even rock, and featuring volin, viola, cello, bass, these artists have something in store for the audience that will result in an unforgettable evening of string playing.
