In November, Assistant Chair of the Music Business/Management Department John Kellogg traveled to Aruba to moderate a panel on music marketing and licensing at a Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association conference. The panel included the former COO of LaFace Records, Mark Shimmel; Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company CEO Peter Primont; and San Francisco entertainment lawyer and educator Michael Ashburne.
