Diversity and Inclusion Meet and Greet

Come meet the team for Diversity and Inclusion. This team plays a role with ensuring that our community is respectful, inclusive, and supportive of people of all identities, beliefs, experiences and musical styles. You will be able to learn about services, support, and opportunities for programs and workshops.  This will be a great opportunity to meet new friends and see old ones.  Music, food, and a wonderful time are all that is on the agenda!

Fall 2015 Course: Survey of Woodwind Styles (PFSS-381)

In Survey of Woodwind Styles (PFSS-381), emphasis is placed on the various styles of major players, including Johnny Hodges, Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Lester Young, John Coltrane, Eric Dolphy, Frank Wess, Benny Goodman, Gerry Mulligan, Michael Brecker, Kenny Garrett, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stitt, Dave Liebman, Hubert Laws, and many others.

Styles are explored and analyzed through recordings, transcriptions, videos, and performance.

  • Electable by all. Required of Performance Major Woodwind Principals.

Yellow Dog Music Fest

On Saturday, September 12th, come out to support Barnstable Land Trust (BLT) at an all day beach MusicFest on Craigville Beach Road in Centerville, MA. There will be seven incredible Berklee bands playing original music on the beach from noon to 9pm.
