Visiting Artist Series: September Round-Up

Take a listen to songs performed, written, produced, and/or managed by the artists who (virtually) stopped by Berklee this past month.

While meeting in a packed recital hall to see revered members of the music industry may not be happening this semester, this doesn't mean that Berklee's vast network of industry connections have stopped engaging with students. Over the past month, the Visiting Artist Series, sponsored by the Career Center, brought in pop chart mainstays including Charlie Puth B.M. '13 and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins as well as new talent making a splash, such as Lennon Stella and TeaMarr, all of whom shared stories from their journeys and answered student questions.

Given that "visits" are no longer dependent on artists traveling to Boston, the series is able to draw from talent across the world, proving that the power of networking can't be stopped by social distancing. So if you're a current student, be sure to catch upcoming visiting artists such as Pinar Toprak B.M. ’00, Audra McDonald, and Mickey Guyton, as well as an American roots panel featuring Sarah Jarosz, Sierra Hull ’11, Chris Thile, and Molly Tuttle ’14

Below, you can take a listen to a selection of songs and productions by this month's slate of visiting artists, ranging in styles from pop and hip-hop to epic film music and classic '90s R&B.
