A little over a year after her chart-topping debut album, Louder!, was released, Latin pop crossover star Sofía Reyes returns to the airwaves with the much anticipated single "1, 2, 3," featuring Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto. The song was cowritten by Nicole Zignago, a Peruvian student currently studying professional music at Berklee, and gives her a foothold in an exciting, genre-busting direction emerging in the pop world. "Writing '1, 2, 3' was one amazing experience," Zignago says of the cowrite. "Everybody in the room was close friends and we were just having fun. We wrote the song in one day, then got together the next day to record the demo and that was it! Jason [Derulo] then heard the song and fell in love and agreed to be a part of it with De La Ghetto, which brought the song to a whole other dimension."

A mix of Spanish and English lyrics, a hallmark of Reyes's energetic style, "1, 2, 3" also fuses Latin, pop, and urban song styles, with guest verses (much of which is in Spanish) by Derulo and a percussive rap bridge by De La Ghetto.
