The Berklee Popular Music Institute (BPMI) kicked off its summer festival season with the DJ duo, Glow Team, performing at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in New York City. The two-day music festival is regarded as one the largest EDM festivals in the country drawing crowds of more than 60,000 people. Glow Team, consisting of David Suarez and Berklee student Harold Trucco, performed a one-hour set on one of the festival's main stages.

"We were definitely stressing as we were getting ready to play the biggest show of our career and saw how massive the stage was," Trucco said, reflecting on the performance. "But once we dropped our first track, everything went away and we came off stage ready for more."

Two BPMI students, Edward Ma and Kimberly Barbosa, traveled with the artists in order to support them and manage festival logistics. Working with the EDC production team, they were the point of contact for the show and made sure everything was prepared for Glow Team's set. Like all BPMI festival gigs, the BPMI students and artists received the same credentials as all of the other performers, agents, and managers and that they were able to network with some of the biggest artists in the industry today, including Grammy Award–winning/platinum-selling artist, Zedd.
