Radio Boston's Anthony Brooks hosted Berklee President Roger H. Brown in the studio to discuss what it takes to be a successful musician in 2015, when seemingly anyone could record and distribute their music. They were later joined by singer/songwriter Melissa Ferrick, a Berklee alumna and associate professor of songwriting who teaches the course Launch Your DIY Career. The conversation covered digital strageties, entrepreneurship, relationship building, revising career goals, and the cost of education. Radio Boston is a daily cultural affairs program heard throughout New England on NPR affiliate WBUR-FM .
