The 2015 summer semester at Berklee featured a large variety of ensembles performing at venues such as the David Friend Recital Hall, Lawrence and Alma Berk Recital Hall, and Olivier Colvin Recital Hall. The students and faculty members in the Performance and Ensemble departments have been hard at work over the summer, preparing music for final performances in a wide range of genres, including electric and acoustic jazz, world music, soul, Latin, metal, and R&B, just to name a few. Ensemble classes meet weekly to discuss matters from revising arrangements to performance techniques while preparing repertoire for their respective final performances, which took place last week.
