Cobi (aka 2008 Berklee graduate Jacob Michael) made his late-night television debut on Monday night, performing his breakout hit “Don’t You Cry For Me” live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

As reported by Vanyaland, Cobi (aka 2008 Berklee graduate Jacob Michael) made his late-night television debut on Monday night, performing his breakout hit “Don’t You Cry For Me” live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The soulful single has racked up more than 20 million streams on Spotify, while the song’s music video is closing in on 500,000 views on YouTube.

Cobi is the former frontman of Gentlemen Hall, an indie pop band whose members met at Berklee. Prior to splitting up in 2015, Gentlemen Hall played the Billboard Music Awards and Boston Calling Music Festival, and had songs featured in prominent Target and Samsung commercials.
