TEDx Berklee Valencia caught up with BerkleeICE founder and managing director, Panos Panay, a year after he spoke at the inaugural Valencia TEDx event. His 2014 talk, titled, "How my guitar taught me entrepreneurship," analyzed the link between the creative pursuit of music and his success as an entrepreneur.

"The older I get, the more I believe that asking good questions is more important than getting the right answers," Panay told Michelle Golden of TEDx Berklee Valencia. "Learning how to ask good questions, learning how to speak outside the constraints of any environment we live in, is essential." It is this inquisitive focus that Panay thinks is an important aspect of both the TEDx event and BerkleeICE's work.

On the topic of advice to his 25-year-old self, Panay said, "Don’t be a networker—be a relationship builder," suggesting that careers are no longer going to be a linear path. Instead, he stressed varied experience, strong relationships, and an inquisitive nature as keys to traveling the twists and turns of a modern career path.
