PODCAST: Inside Berklee–Carin Nuernberg
Carin Nuernberg is Berklee’s vice president of online education. A foundational member in the development of Berklee Online, Nuernberg has played a vital role in establishing the current model of online music education. During her tenure, Berklee Online has launched nearly 200 online courses and won a University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) Award annually for the past eight years.
“The biggest joy for me is the students,” Nuernberg says. “We’re giving people access to Berklee and Berklee faculty and helping them achieve their dreams. There’s nothing better than that.”
In this Inside Berklee podcast, Nuernberg, who has also led Berklee’s participation in free massive open online courses (MOOCs), as well as Berklee Press, discusses Berklee Online’s forthcoming master’s degree program, and how students can take advantage of flexible pathways to study and earn degrees with Berklee through an array of online and in-person options.
