Part 3: Larry Watson/Motown

The connection that Professor Watson made for students with the very foundation of the curriculum content was not simply unforgettable for the students. All in that room could feel the students making the connection - feeling the mentorship of the music they sing by seeing themselves click into the circle of Soul music. Their spirits were aflame as they were giving over these classic songs in their own voices, from their hands, to Mr. Gordy himself. Their energy shifted - they felt part of something bigger and they came alive. There was so much spirit in this musical space. The only word is awesome.
