NPR's All Songs Considered, hosted by Bob Boilen and Robin Hilton, recently named Honeysuckle's track, "It's Getting Late," to their listener-chosen list, Your Favorite New Musicians of 2016 (So Far), rubbing elbows with fellow up-and-comers Margo Price, Margaret Glaspy, and Lucy Dacus. The hosts include comments submitted along with the selections that made the list, and of Honeysuckle, one listener said, "So many contemporary bluegrass and folk outfits that get big have a cloying sweetness to them, or a cynical predisposition towards a radio-friendly pop sensibility. Not so with Honeysuckle. Their sound is unpretentious and unabashed, as if each song is meant for one set of ears only."

Honeysuckle comprises Berklee alumni Holly McGarry '15, Chris Bloniarz '15, and Benjamin Burns '16. Among a slew of shows slated for this summer, standouts include a set at Lollapalooza and vinyl release show at Club Passim.
