Berklee’s Signature Series Presents the Music of Disney

The Signature Series at Berklee continues with The Great American Songbook: The Music of Disney on Sunday, March 1. Featuring the college’s finest student and faculty singers and instrumentalists, the concert will include sweeping new arrangements of music from classic Disney films and shows.

Music from The Lion KingFrozenAladdinToy StoryPeter PanDavy CrockettBeauty and the BeastMary PoppinsCinderellaToy Story, and more will be featured, including “Someday My Prince Will Come,” “Be Our Guest,” “You’ve Got a Friend In Me,” “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Circle of Life,” and other classics.

The concert takes place on Sunday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Berklee Performance Center (BPC), located at 136 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. Tickets are $12/$16 and are available at berklee.edu/BPC, by calling 617-747-2261, or at the BPC box office. Discounts available on advance sales. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

The Great American Songbook: The Music of Disney is produced by Rob Rose. The production’s music director is Ken Zambello. An annual event at Berklee, the Great American Songbook concert has in recent years paid homage to great women songwriters as well as the music of Motown, Nashville, and Quincy Jones.
