Rhoda Bernard Elected to Arts Education Advisory Council for Americans for the Arts

Rhoda Bernard, managing director of the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs, was recently elected to the Arts Education Advisory Council of Americans for the Arts.

Rhoda Bernard, managing director of the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs, was recently elected to the Arts Education Advisory Council of Americans for the Arts. Bernard will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2018. During that time, she will advise the staff on programs and services related to individuals with special needs in arts education settings; she will collaborate with other council members on a range of initiatives and projects; and she will contribute to and support events such as National Arts in Education Week.

Earlier this year, Bernard presented a webinar on arts education and students with special needs as part of National Arts in Education Week 2017.
