With a $69 million opening weekend, The Lego Movie is this year's hottest movie—and Berklee alumnus James T. Sale '92 is a part of its creation. Sale, who majored in film scoring at Berklee, conducted the orchestra that performed the animated movie's score.

Sale got his first credited music role in 1995's Se7en and has since built an impressive resume as a conductor and composer for films such as 21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Ali. He also wrote the score to Music Within, which the Hollywood Reporter named as one of it choices for 2007 movie scores worthy of Oscar consideration.
