Music therapy major and vocalist Keira Smith recently shared a powerful take on Jill Scott's "Watching Me" via the Berklee Anywhere series that updates the song for the Black Lives Matter movement. In addition to our interview with her, we asked Smith to share some songs that helped sustain and inspire her during a global pandemic and time of protest. Here's what she has to say about the playlist below: "This playlist is a compilation of how I have been feeling throughout COVID-19 [and this time of protest against] police brutality. These tracks range from neo-soul to hip-hop to R&B. Each song touches base on topics that are sensitive. I resort to these songs when I am calm, angry, or devastated. Black lives will always and forever matter."
