A Boston tradition, the Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival is a free, outdoor concert that brings thousands of fans together under the banner of live music. This year's lineup, curated by Terri Lyne Carrington '83 '03H, features the post-bop stylings of saxophonist Tia Fuller, the Latin-infused modern jazz of the Marco Pignataro Almas Antiguas Quartet, a microtonal sound dubbed "Mikrojazz" by performers Dave Fiuczynski and Philipp Gerschlauer, and a host of other events and performances you can plan to check out.
