Berklee's CMJ showcase has become an annual opportunity to hear the latest from rising bands that feature alumni and students. This year, six artists will perform on October 22 at New York's Bowery Poetry Club, including the Brooklyn-based Prigs. The nine-piece group is led by a trio of musicians: two Berklee alumni—guitarist Mack Price and bassist Bill Flynn—and saxophonist Evan Smith. The latest Sounds of Berklee podcast features one of the Prigs' horns-driven originals, "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight."
