Berklee Blogs from Kenya

The college returns to Nairobi to connect with a torrent of talent.
July 16, 2010

Only a handful of Berklee faculty, staff, and students got to travel to Nairobi this month to audition and interview promising African musicians. Fortunately, they shared their experiences online for the rest of us. The Berklee crew visited music programs, met with music teachers, and even attended a patriotic party with the United States ambassador—all captured on video.

How exciting was it? The college expanded the audition schedule to three full days, and that still wasn't enough for all the musicians wanting to become the college's next Africa Scholars.
