International College of Music (ICOM), situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the leading music college in the Asia Pacific region. Since 1995, ICOM has focused on contemporary music and today, ICOM has 200 students enrolled in its programs. ICOM’s mission is to develop qualified music professionals of the future who will be able to take on the challenging roles of arrangers, songwriters, producers, sound engineers, performers, managers, and entrepreneurs, amongst others—meeting the rising demands of the contemporary music industry.

ICOM has received multiple awards from the Brand Laureate Awards in recognition of its outstanding work in the area of music education. The programs offered by the college integrate music with technology, business, and education in order to prepare students for an industry that is constantly evolving. ICOM offers a three-semester Foundation in Music matriculation program for students who intend to transfer to Berklee.

ICOM’s bachelor of music programs include professional music, a joint three-year undergraduate program offered with the University of Wolverhampton and conducted entirely at ICOM. In this program, students receive a comprehensive education in the field of performance, arranging, and music production.

A diploma in business (music industry) at ICOM is the result of a 2.5-year industry-focused business program that offers students insights into the music and entertainment industry. Students who successfully complete the diploma can continue their education further at the University of Hertfordshire. In addition, ICOM offers certificates in audio production, Pro Tools and Logic, and other corporate/industry training programs.

ICOM’s campus is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, including a 200-seat recital hall, a keyboard lab, ensemble rooms, individual practice rooms, a recording studio, a surround sound production suite, and a library.
