Prescription Drug Coverage
Berklee's Student Health Insurance Plan offers a pharmacy benefit program managed by Express Scripts that includes retail chains as well as independent pharmacies.
At participating Express Scripts pharmacies, you will pay a $15 copayment for a 30-day supply of a generic drug (tier-1 drug); a $30 copayment for a 30-day supply of a preferred brand name drug (tier-2 drug); and a $50 copayment for a 30-day supply of a non-preferred brand name drug (tier-3 drug). To find a participating pharmacy, call Express Scripts customer service at 800 711-0917 or go to gallagherstudent.com/Berklee and select "Pharmacy Program" from the links on the left.

Mail Service Pharmacy
Prescriptions are also available through Express Scripts' Mail Service Pharmacy. For most plans, you can order up to a 90-day supply through the mail, which saves you time. And because you pay a smaller co-payment for most medications when purchased through the Mail Service Pharmacy compared to the same supply purchased at a retail pharmacy, it can also save you money.
For questions about using the Mail Service Pharmacy, call Member Service at the number printed on your Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts member ID card or visit Mail Service Pharmacy. If you have questions regarding the status of your prescription that you ordered using the Mail Service Pharmacy, call Express Scripts customer service at 800 892-5119.
