Applying for Housing (Entering Students)

On-campus housing is guaranteed for student starting in the fall (September) semester who fill out the Housing License Agreement before the May 5 deadline. After the deadline has passed, on-campus housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Spring and summer incoming students are not guaranteed housing. 

If you are a student entering in the fall semester, you can apply for housing by following the steps below: 

  • Step 1: Access the housing application and portal through the next steps page of the admissions portal.
  • Step 2: Log into your Housing portal 
    • Students Issued a OnePass: If you have been issued a OnePass from Berklee, please select "BERKLEE SSO Student Login" below and enter your OnePass username and password.
    • Students Not Issued a OnePass: If you have not yet been issued a OnePass, please select "Register" and follow the registration instructions listed. In order to register, you will need your Student ID number.
  • Step 3: Once logged in, select Academic Year Application. Read over the Housing License Agreement (HLA) and sign it before May 5. 
  • Step 4: Wait for further information sent from our office via email, including a housing confirmation. 
    • Information regarding room selection, roommates, and move in will be sent out after the May 5 deadline 

Applying for Housing (Continuing Students)

Housing for continuing students is not guaranteed. All continuing students interested in academic year on-campus housing are encouraged to participate in the on-campus housing lottery, which occurs during the month of March.

  • Step 1: In March, log into your Housing portal and fill out the Academic Year Application (HLA).
  • Step 2: In early April, our office will hold a housing lottery, and inform you whether we are offering you on campus housing, or whether you will be placed on a waitlist. Those not chosen for housing through this lottery process will be put on a waitlist and receive an update on their waitlist position every other week.
