Film Scoring and Sound Design Application for Student Filmmakers

On a limited basis, Berklee can pair student filmmakers with student composers and sound designers in our paired Practicum courses. Filmmakers with a work-in-progress in all genres — animation, live action and documentary — are invited to apply to work with a Berklee composer and/or sound designer/editor. There is no charge to apply or participate, but there are a limited number of spots available.

We are currently accepting applications for our Fall 2018 semester. Films will be accepted on a rolling basis, and you will be contacted within two weeks of submission. Applications will close as soon as all spots are filled.

FAQs, terms, and conditions are available here. If you have any additional questions, contact Film Scoring Chair Alison Plante at

Applications will be open until filled or will close on Friday, September 28 at the latest.
