Tyler Pinder-Hudson is a singer-songwriter and background vocalist based in both Boston and Philadelphia. He started singing at a very young age through the children’s choir at his church, which his mother directed. At age 7, he auditioned for the world-renowned Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale. He spent the next five years with them, training classically and touring internationally before attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. There, he found his true love: contemporary music and musical theater.

Pinder-Hudson performed around Philadelphia throughout high school, singing at a number of parades and high-profile events. He ended his high school career with a gig in Times Square, singing with the Roots for the grand opening of Kellogg’s Cereal Bar. He subsequently came to Berklee College of Music to pursue a degree in music business/management. At Berklee, he also joined the a cappella group Pitch Slapped. With Pitch Slapped, he was on season 10 of America’s Got Talent, toured nationally and internationally, recorded two albums, and was featured in the film Daddy’s Home 2. Being in Pitch Slapped has broadened his appreciation of and love for music, especially R&B and jazz.

Pinder-Hudson is looking forward to putting out his own music in the near future.
