Triarky is a new ensemble created by Berklee faculty Mimi Rabson, associate professor in the String Department, on violin and David Harris, assistant professor in the Harmony Department, on tuba along with Phil Neighbors on drums. Rabson and Harris have merged decades of performance and composition credits to form a power trio that no one else could conceive. The influences for their original compositions include the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Henry Threadgill, the Skatalites, Fela Kuti, and James Brown.

Equally at home on the stage or in a club, Triarky defies definition and labels. The trio's massive musical vocabulary is garnered from its members' extensive experiences in world music, funk, rock, and jazz. The resultant synergy fills the room with electricity at once familiar and new.
