Tadeo Kvitca’s Boston Klezmer Band blends the musical heritage of European Jewish communities with styles inherited from the Sephardic branch, as well as more modern influences, such as jazz, bossa nova, and Latin music.
The performance is packed with Bulgars, Horas, and danceable rhythms, while also borrowing from Latin music. Endorsed by Berklee College of Music professor Michael Wartofsky and having taken classes with klezmer composer Miguel Rausch, Kvitca is equipped with the knowledge and skills of traditional klezmer, as well as modern and original songs.
Originally from Argentina, Kvitca strives to connect Klezmer music with folklore music from South America, bridging the gap and infusing it with new influences.
