Benjamin Groff has worked in music publishing for more than 25 years, including stints in A&R at BMG and EMI. He was the first United States employee of Kobalt Music Publishing, where he helped build the roster over 10 years as the company’s executive vice president of creative.
Groff currently leads his own publishing company, Brill Building, as well as the label We Are: The Guard, in partnership with Kobalt. His signings include Ryan Tedder, Kelly Clarkson, the Lumineers, Grimes, Savan Kotecha, and many others. He specializes in the development of early artists, writers, and writers/producers.
Amanda Samii has been instrumental in signing artists such as Marshmello, who has released collaborations with Selena Gomez, Khalid, Bastille, Migos, and Anne-Marie, among others. She also has signed writers/producers such as Finneas O’Connell, who is behind the success of Billie Eilish, as well as other notable names such as Syd, Rogét Chahayed, Mike Crossey, Michael Matosic, and Peter Thomas.
