Benjamin Groff B.M. ’93 of Brill Building Publishing will give a short talk followed by an open song screening.
After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a songwriting degree, Groff worked for various music publishing companies, including BMG Music and EMI Music Publishing. In 2006, he began a 10-year stint as executive vice president of creative for Kobalt Music Publishing, where he participated in signing many of the top artists, writers, and producers on the roster.
His company Brill Building Publishing is actively involved in signing up-and-coming artists, writers, and producers. Past signings include Ryan Tedder, Kelly Clarkson, the Lumineers, Grimes, and LMFAO.
