Singer-songwriter and producer Sean McConnell explores what it means to be human in his honest, introspective, country-laced songs. Waking up every morning in Franklin, Tennessee, on a small farm with a wood-burning stove and the scent of freshly cut grass, he is inspired by his quiet surroundings. Over the years McConnell has become a versatile collaborator and sought-after songsmith, known for tapping into the broad spectrum of human emotions and his own observations. He recognizes the dichotomy of "both/and" rather than just "either/or" in both his personal and creative lives.

His newest collection of work, A Horrible Beautiful Dream, plays with a central theme of balance amidst the turbulence of life's situations. “Every new collection of songs represents both a finish line and a starting point in an artist's career, and this project is no exception. It's a man asking questions, while simultaneously being unafraid of the answers,” says McConnell. The dark warmth of the piano, the quiet, rhythmic picking of acoustic guitar, and the droning tension of strings paint this work in a moment of levity.

Please note: this will be a seated concert.
