School Night is a summer workshop series for alumni in Los Angeles.

Workshop 2: Film Composing

Ever wonder what it takes to get started as a film composer? Should you start as an assistant or go after your own projects first? And how does one find out about composers seeking assistants or filmmakers seeking composers?

Join Justine Taormino, associate director of Alumni Affairs, as she leads a panel discussion about film composing, with the added angle of being female in the entertainment industry.

Panelists include:

  • Tori Letzler '12, vocal soloist, composer and creator of "The Future Is Female: A Concert for Women in Film"
  • Jessica Rae Huber B.M. '12, film and television composer for The Walking Dead, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Lost Land of Yehey

Seating is limited. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
