Rubén Amador and Yahuba
Percussionist Rubén Amador and his group Yahuba present an interactive concert/clinic of the Afro-Puerto Rican musical traditions and evolution. From the bomba drumming and dances of the 18th century and the 19th century ballroom style of danza to the jíbaro music of the mountains and the urban sounds of the Plena, this will be a celebration of the rich and diverse culture of the island.
