Mike Daly will host a live discussion about where songwriters are making money now, whether and when to sign a publishing deal, what types of deals are most beneficial for songwriters, and answer any questions about publishing your songs. 
 
Mike Daly is a producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist as well as the executive director for A&R and music publishing at the Disney Music Group (Hollywood Records, DMG Nashville, Walt Disney Records, and Disney Music Publishing). Daly attended Berklee College of Music, graduating in 1994. He first came to prominence as Whiskeytown’s resident multi- instrumentalist and cowriter, and has had songs recorded by artists such as Jason Mraz, Lana Del Rey, Lucy Hale, Alberta Cross, and Young the Giant, among others. In 2008, Daly wrote his first book, Time Flies When You’re in a Coma: The Wisdom of the Metal Gods.
